Infinix Hot 12 Play is the successor of Hot 11 Play. This smartphone alongside the Infinix Hot 12 was the first Infinix phone to offer Android 12 out of the box. Infinix Hot 12 Play offers a couple of upgrades to its predecessor one notable upgrade is the switch from MicroUSB to USB Type C. You also get the extended RAM feature that enables you to add an additional 3GB of memory to the default 4GB RAM for a smoother experience. While the Infinix Hot 12 Play appears to offer the same display as the standard edition, it falls short in camera. While the standard edition sports three rear cameras, the Play edition offers two. You get a 13 megapixels dual AI camera with quad-LED flash on the back. The camera can record full HD videos and also support slow motion recording at 120 fps. For comparison, the standard edition does SloMo at 240 fps. An 8-megapixel front-facing camera is provided for taking selfies.
Infinix Hot 12 Play runs Android 12 on an octa-core processor. For now, it is not clear the identity of the processor. However, we can confirm that it is not the same processor in the Hot 12.
